Senior Center (Heritage Hall)
The Merkel Nutritional Program is for the Senior Citizens of Merkel, TX. The program provides a well-balanced hot lunch to anyone who is over 60 years old. Lunch is served at Heritage Hall on Monday, Tuesday & Thursday between 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. However, most people come early for lunch & stay late to play dominoes & fellowship with many of their friends. If you are physically unable to join us for lunch, we have a Meals on Wheels program that provides lunch 5 days a week to the homebound.
